ZumbaGold

These low impact  workouts combine music and Latin inspired dance moves. Held at St. Elizabeth’s gym, 1414 South Sappington Road 63126,  every Tuesday at 11:30 AM & Friday at 10:30 AM. Chair Yoga 

Sherri Lucas, our beloved Zumba Gold instructor of 7 years, will be leading  a Silver Sneakers Chair Yoga Exercise program.  There will be NO downward dog, and absolutely NO tying your appendages into a pretzel. This class is truly relaxing and energizing!  Held at St. Elizabeth’s gym, 1414 South Sappington Road 63126,  every Tuesday at 10:30 AM . Cards and Games

Every Thursday, after chair exercises at Advent, 9373 Garber Road 63126, about 10:15 AM, a group gathers in Cafe SAJE  for card games, dominoes and other games.  On the second Thursday of each month, they gather after Lunch and Learn (about 1:00 PM).  All are welcome. Cost is a FREE, Donations are accepted, but not expected. Quilting Bee

Quilters of all abilities are invited to join this friendly group of women – no one’s stitches will be removed. Don’t worry if you can’t see to quilt in a straight line, it adds character to the quilt.  Every Monday,  9373 Garber Road 63126, 11:00 AM.   All  are welcome. Bring a sandwich for lunch, and sides will be provided to share.  Cost is a FREE, Donations are accepted, but not expected. Pickleball  

Held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary, 1414 South Sappington Road 63126,  every Monday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and  every Thursday from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Beginner lesson is included. All skill levels welcomed and encouraged. Cost is $3 per person. St Louis County Public Library                           Book Mobile #4

The St Louis County Public Library Book Mobile #4 comes to Church of the Advent,Episcopal Church 9373 Garber Road 63126  from 10:15 AM-11:00 AM every other week.  You can check out books from the selection of rolling shelves that are there, you can return a book, cassette, CD, magazine, or DVD that you borrowed from any of the book mobiles or any of the libraries. You can pick up books that you have reserved via the St Louis County Public Library web site.  And, If you don’t have a library card, you can attain one through Book Mobile #4 as well!!!!! SAJE Mini Day Trips

A SAJE organized Mini Day Trip around St Louis City and St Louis County. For the most part these will take place the 3rd Wednesday of the month, be sure to verify dates, as some activities and events can only happen on certain days, and be of minimal cost. Please be sure to RSVP, as some events require the purchase of tickets. All Mini Day trips will meet at St Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church prior to departing.

MARCH MINI DAY TRIP to BISSINGER’S

It’s the First Day of Spring! Sounds like the perfect time to get out and tour a chocolate factory – Willy Wonka and the Oompah Loompahs may not be there, but Bissinger’s has a pretty good reputation too.

A guide will take us on a private, one-hour tour. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Chocolate Shoppe – remember, Easter is coming.  Get those rabbit ears! And, we will lunch among the chocolates.

Because we will be right amongst the action, participants must sign Visitor’s Policy Guidelines and Nondisclosure Agreement Forms prior to the tour.   SAJE will have the forms for you.  Spots are reserved for 24 people.  So you know:

No children under the age of 5 are allowed on the Factory Floor.

Hairnets MUST be worn in all production & warehouse areas. No hats.

Beardnets must be worn by anyone with any amount of facial hair.

Jewelry is PROHIBITED in the production & warehouse areas.

Visitors are required to wear a Bissinger’s provided smock.

For safety, visitors can only wear flat, closed-toe shoes.

No cell phones or cameras are allowed in production/warehouse.

Photos can be taken in the Chocolate Shoppe and Viewing Room.

No food, drink, or open container of any kind in production/warehouse.

No glass is allowed in the production or warehouse areas.

No smoking or chewing tobacco is allowed in the building.

Visitors will hold CONFIDENTIAL methods, designs, data, etc.

 

Meet at St. Elizabeth upper parking lot for 9:45 AM departure.

Private Tour is $10.00 each and a box lunch of $ 15.00 each. Other expenses would be candy purchases.
