Mental Health First Aid
o Saturday March 23 o 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM o $23/Resident $25/Nonresident o 1 Day o 18+
o Most people know someone who suffers from some type of mental health disorder, but do you know what to do to help those individuals? People who enroll in this Mental Health First Aid course will learn a 5-step action plan to help loved ones, colleagues, neighbors and other cope with mental health or substance use problems. Similar to traditional First Aid and CPR, Mental First Aid will help provide to a person developing a mental health problem or experiencing a crisis until professional treatment is obtained or the crisis is resolved. This course will be taught by Teresa Breeding, MSW, LCSW, CCM.

PEAK Sport and Spine presents physical therapist Ashley Shwendeman to lead a discussion on the emerging ideas in managing diabetes. Get tips on nutritional and pharmaceutical management techniques. Explore ways to safely use exercise to manage diabetes and its complications.

Come along for dinner and a show! We will be having a delicious dinner at Pios restaurant in historic St. Charles. Your choice of Chicken Supreme or Roast Beef, both served with salad, potatoes, and green beans, with dessert to finish it off. We will then head to Lindenwood University’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts to watch the crazy entertaining performance of The Rocky Horror Show. The show will take place in the Black Box Theater, a venue that puts you in the middle of the action, with no bad seats in the house.
In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.” This dark comedy musical has several secrets up its sleeve, and things are not always as they appear.

Saturday April 13 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM One Day All Ages Family and Friends CPR
A video-guided program for parents, grandparents and teenagers who babysit (ages 10-15 if accompanied by an adult). Instruction and hands-on practice for infant, child and adult CPR, first aid for choking and the use of AEDs, when appropriate. Course instructors use the American Heart Association material, which includes a 65-page student manual. (Course does not include certification upon completion.)

Crestwood Dance Club ONGOING – Every Tuesday
Join us every Tuesday afternoon for dancing, music and friends. Ballroom, circle tag, round, line dancing and Latin dancing are just a few of the styles you will enjoy. Any and skill levels are welcome!

Mah Jongg Club ONGOING – Every Wednesday

Lunch and BINGO *Pre-registration is Required* First Thursday
Mid-County Muni Lunch and Bingos are held the first Thursday of the month at Webster Groves. Meet-up for two hours of Bingo, socializing and lunch. Advance phone registration is required at 314-968-1410 EXT. 315. Cost is $8.00 and pay day of.
Pickle Ball Ongoing -Every Monday, Thursday and Friday
