COMMUNITY MEALS 

  Pantry Low? Need a Warm Meal? First Responder? 

St. Lucas UCC invites you to share a delicious Sunday dinner in our Community Room, 314-843-2100, 11735 Denny Road, Sunset Hills.  Meet new people, enjoy a change of scenery, and visit with those who serve our community, all at the same time.

NO RSVP REQUIRED      July 28, August 25 & September 22  from   4PM to 5:30PM        Carryout Available.  No Charge.

The St Lucas LITTLE FREE PANTRY

We’re asking the community to give what they can and/or take what they need. We’ve also included a box for dog treats! They are located in the West Parking Lot by the preschool entrance.

PLEASE COME, GIVE AND TAKE AS YOU WISH!

The City of Crestwood along with other neighboring communities have activities for you to enjoy!

18th Lazy River Duck Race – Thursday, July 4 at 2 P.M.

Join us on Fourth of July when hundreds of rubber ducks will race around the lazy river toward the finish line! A 2020 Crestwood Aquatic Center pass will be awarded to the winner! You can adopt your duck at the Community Center beginning June 8 for $5 a “quack.” 

Customer Appreciation Day – Friday, August 9 at 4 P.M.

Finish the summer in style at the Crestwood Aquatic Center! The evening will be filled with games, prizes, and a live concert by the Wildhouse Katz from 5-7 P.M. During the event we will host the 1st Cardboard Boat Regatta! Registration is required, in-person at the Community Center by July 18.

Stories in the Park

Crestwood Parks & Recreation and St. Louis County Library – Oak Bend are joining together to have story time in the Park for Preschool and Kidergarten age children. Join us as we explore Crestwood parks and discover new books! Mondays at 2 P.M.

Summer Concert Series

Pull out your air guitar and join us for a Summer Concert Series on the Summer Playhouse stage! Coolers, snacks and drinks are welcome, but not glass. In the event of bad weather, the concert will be held in the Whitecliff multi-purpose room.

Summer Movies In The Park  Series

All Ages

See the movie on the big screen! Grab some popcorn, your blankets and watch a free movie this summer with us! Thrilling new movies at your neighborhood park, is a good way to relax and enjoy the summer nights. Movies will start playing at dusk and could be cancelled in the event of windy or wet conditions.

NEW! Stampin’ Card Sessions *Presented by Stampin’ Up*

Thursday  November 7    o   5:00 PM to 9:00 PM       o   $25/Resident $30/Nonresident       o   1 Day    o   21+

Need some cute cards on hand? Stampin’ Up will be at the Crestwood Community Center with a step by step demonstration on how to make a stampin’ stack of 5 different cards. Bring your favorite bottle of wine and get crafty. All the card supplies will be provided with pre-registration.

 

 

Ongoing Activities at Crestwood Community Center

Crestwood Dance Club     ONGOING –  Every Tuesday

Join us every Tuesday afternoon for dancing, music and friends. Ballroom, circle tag, round, line dancing and Latin dancing are just a few of the styles you will enjoy. Any and skill levels are welcome!

Mah Jongg Club     ONGOING –  Every Wednesday

Come join us on Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM to play American Mah Jongg. If you do not know how to play and have been wanting to learn, this is your chance! If you have your own Mah Jongg set, bring it with you! Hope to see you there!

Lunch and BINGO *Pre-registration is Required* First Thursday

Mid-County Muni Lunch and Bingos are held the first Thursday of the month at Webster Groves. Meet-up for two hours of Bingo, socializing and lunch. Advance phone registration is required at 314-968-1410 EXT. 315. Cost is $8.00 and pay day of.

 

Pickle Ball      Ongoing  -Every Monday, Thursday and Friday

Join the Pickelball craze here at Crestwood Community Center! Monday, Thursday and Fridays 1 PM to 4 PM. If you would like to be added to the email list please contact Phil at PLanio@cityofcrestwood.org. Residents and Nonresidents $2.00 at the door.
